<aside> ✨ Welcome to your virtual box of emotional regulation! You know that gag gift that was popular years ago…the one with a bar of chocolate behind a glass frame that says “break in case of emergency.” That’s kind of what this is.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when the feelings are big. Use this template as a “break in case of emergency” situation as a way of reminding yourself what types of activities are helpful for you when you’re feeling funky (not in a good way).
Simply click on the boxes to add your own “When I…” statements, or create new ones by clicking the + New button below each section. Then, add your own ideas to the checklist; make note of activities or reminders you can come back to when you need.
